Water Education Days

Water Education Days are held every year in late May at Edwards YMCA Camp. Students from local grade schools are invited to attend and learn about the local Mukwonago River Watershed and why Lake Beulah is such an important aspect of the watershed. The students gain a greater understanding of the lake’s water quality, invasive species that threaten waterways, water cycles and fish populations. A representative from the Wisconsin DNR speaks about important issues that are affecting the lake and surrounding areas.
Water Education Days are sponsored by the LBPIA and also supported by the Friends of the Mukwonago River.
